Terms of Service for After the Jump

  1. Agreement

    These Terms govern your access to https://drama1.eroocs.com (After the Jump) and its free digital services: the vertical short-drama player for After the Jump, Cast / History / guide screens, and AI-powered chats with unlocked characters (together, the "Services").

    By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Website.

    Minimum age: 16+. The drama is labeled for mature romantic themes. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian's consent where required by law.

  2. What the Services include
    • Streaming or progressive playback of episodes with optional captions and related stills / posters
    • Local resume and history stored in your browser
    • Unlocking character chat after the relevant debut episode
    • In-character AI replies generated from your chat messages
    • Optional beginner guide and English / Japanese UI copy
  3. Free access — no purchases on this site

    The Website does not require an account and does not currently offer paid plans, coins, or in-app checkout. There are no virtual purchases, promotional coupon codes, or refund workflows on After the Jump. Advertising may appear as described in the Privacy Policy.

  4. AI chat disclaimer

    Character chats are entertainment. Replies are produced by AI and may be inaccurate, fictional, or inconsistent with the show. Do not rely on chat for advice, and do not share secrets or personal data you would not want processed by automated systems.

  5. Acceptable use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Services for unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful purposes
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the player, chat API, or ads
    • Circumvent technical limits, impersonate others, or overload our infrastructure with automated traffic
    • Redistribute episode video files or other copyrighted assets obtained through the Website

    We may suspend or block access for violations or abuse.

  6. Intellectual property

    After the Jump, the Website software, branding, episode presentation, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial viewing and chat. Show titles and characters remain the property of their respective rights holders as presented on the site.

  7. Third-party technology

    The Services may use video delivery, AI inference, Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, and hosting providers. Those parties process data under their own terms, as summarized in our Privacy Policy. You can limit some cookies through browser settings or ad opt-out tools.

  8. Local data and availability

    Progress and chat threads stored only in your browser can be lost if you clear site data. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features with or without notice. Streaming quality depends on your network and device.

  9. Disclaimer and limitation

    The Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free AI output, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the player or chat, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

  10. Force majeure

    We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network outages, upstream AI or CDN failures, and natural events.
